Where is the DC KK?

I'm trying to gauge how many will be coming so we can organize a caravan or not. If not many... it may not be worth it. But we'll see.

We can meet at two places..

MV KK for the first group and then another group at DC KK and then go from there altogether.

What are the estimated time(s) to meet at the D.C. KK? Don't know exactly where it is but if its right off of 280, then might be able to swing it. We were planning to leave the South Bay by 7:00 am (at the latest). I'm giving it a drive time of 1 hr 15 min and I don't want to make Ken wait too long at Gate 7.

On a side note (as I posted in the other thread):
Any solo drivers headed out to ALMS that registered with Ken? My brother is looking to be your 'virtual' passenger to use the 2nd person pass. He'll split your registration costs with you. We should be at Gate 7 by 8:30 am at the latest. Let me know if you need a rider to cover some of your gas fees!

Maybe. I was going to bring it for sure on Sat. for the Norcal corral, but now I'm bringing a female friend who'll want creature comforts like aircon and windows that roll down all the way. I may be coaxed into bringing it on Sunday if enough inline5'ers are willing to show their pride and represent!

Tell me about it! I tried talking her out of it! Frankly I'd rather go on my own. The good news is, she's only coming on Saturday to have a look around (its her first race, doesn't know anything about cars cept you turn the key and press the gas ). I'll have Sunday to focus on the race and the cars!

martin- i'll be bring up my cq to represent the old skoolers. the audi corral usually houses more vintage models which you probably won't see in the "carshow" area.

as for the drive up. windows up and a/c off to use all the horsepower i have. need to keep up with the youngins' and their 30v engines!

Hmm.. I have to figure out logistics it seems. From what I hear, I have to estimate 1hr15min drive time from Mountain View. To get there at 745am, I have to leave MV KK at 630am, stop by DC KK at about 655am and then head on over.

check out the alms update thread, i got a call from slipstream, they will give us the best spot but we need to be there earlyyyy.... roll-in is at 7am-9am..... i'll be happy to see the south bay peeps there at 715, hell all you guys made it to monterey last year at 8am, so might as well do the same

Alright so here are the departure times. I need to work out the directions (never been there before) to figure out if we can swing by Retrohasen's place.

Meet point 1: Mountain View KK
Time - 615AM (no joking)

Meet point 2: Daly City KK
Time - 640AM

This should put us as arrival around 730am or so. Hopefully enough time to get a good spot.

I'm not one to wait around for peeps, so whoever's there at that time, we'll just go.

it will help to get an idea of how many az'ers to look out for at each location.

Hell, I'm right off 19th as well. Maybe I'll meet up near retrohansens. Theres the Shell right on the corner of Lincoln and 19th. Buddy-o-mine is the head mechanic there. I'm sure he'd be cool letting us sit there early in the AM on Sunday morning. That way when you guys come up 19th, you'll see us right there. Easy on an off. How about the Lincoln meet time be around 7am?

Well, it sounds like there's only going to be me coming from KK so, we'll just all meet up in SF at the 19th and ? intersection.

To get there by 730 we should leave there at 645am so everybody arrive there at that time. Thanks.
