    Question Replacing Control Arms?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I believe the time has come for my control arms to go, or at elast it is definately going to come before I make the drive to Arizona from Chicago.

Regardless, I need to know where I should purchase the parts from to replace all my control arms, (or do you guys think I'd only need to replace the fronts?) and how much to expect to pay for labor!

    TIA,
    Ari

I recommend that you buy a full control arm kit. ECS Tuning sells one for a much cheaper price than anyone else. You should also change the stabilizer links too.

    So you should buy:

Meyle Upgraded OE Control Arm Kit W/Hardware = $529
OE Front Sway Bar Link Set. Left & Right Side = $59

You have the option to also change the front tie rod ends too. These also have balljoints and can become very worn after several years of driving. The catch with these is that you MUST get the car aligned after replacing them to avoid excessive toe settings and killing your tires.

The heavy duty tie rod ends are $104.

OR you can buy them with your control arms by purchasing the "Meyle Upgraded OE Control Arm & Heavy Duty Tie Rod End Kit W/Hardware" for $599.

Then you'd get the tie rod ends for $70.
