So this pocket bike is addicting

As many of you know I had a pocket bike. Well I crashed and literally burned the first one and bought a second one that has a full fairing 47CC motor. Well the thing is shit slow.

So me and my buddies have conquered up a plan, but im starting off slow for now.

I bought a titanium race exhaust for it, a air velocity stack, and a ported carburator for it awaiting its delivery. Also a smaller sprocket has been purchased and should gain some more speed.

If all this sucks, we've planned to place some orders for Polini 6.5 HP race motors for our pocket bikes that comes with a watercooled manifold.

Should be sick, this thing is a new hobby !

    haha

my bike is ok fast right now, not really really fast... it's a mid superbike and can go up to 40mph maybe more, if a lighter guy rides it... yeah it is sooo addicting, i raced with my friend's YSR 50 and we went head to head until he smoked me at 3rd gear...

i'm thinking of getting the real small ones, full fairing like DGS4 but with 49cc motor... i rode my neighbor's and that thing is crazy fast coz it's so small and he changed to a smaller rear sprocket already...

Sorry guys, no pics of my demise on the first bike. But ill snap a pic of the new one next to my YSR 50 tomorrow.

I wanted to get the bigger one with working lights horn and electric start, but the one I looked at was slow as donkey balls. I've seen faster ones, but this lil pocket thing is cool enough.

As far as I know. A Polini will run you in the 2000 range. A GRC will run you around there too if not more same with the blata. China bikes are like 350. They are listed as China 47CC and China 49CC. Theres two models of the 47CC. The first one I had was 250, which didnt have a full fairing. The 350 one came with a full faring and from what i've noticed, have more parts for mods. Theres websites dedicated to these lil suckers.

BTW Hooligan, you know they sell prepped 47CC race motors for our framed bikes right? Also you can buy a Polini 6.5 or the Polini 12hp motor and swap it into our bikes with a minor modification to replace our 2hp motors.

DGS4: oh a polini motor on the Cag?? i guess i can put it on my mini too right?

/\G: it's a 49cc china mini bikes called superbike, they have a new one now called X1 and X2 just came out i heard, the X2 got alarm and dual speed?? i haven't seen one yet... i like the looks of mine than the x1... but if you are not a real tall dude like me, get the small Cags, i can still ride them but not for a long time, they are the ones that most peeps use...

why spend 2k on something that small when you could get a ninja 250 for another 500 bucks that will be way faster then these? Have a better top end and probably be able to out accelerate. Seems like a waste of money if you ask me.

Hooligan is the R1 the only sport bike you've rode? Cuz im lookin around for 500-600cc bikes full fairing that have a more on the comfortable side for a seat and not squeeze so hard in between my thighs.

Thanks for the info...I will definitely look into that...

Jesseahhstyle -> I also have an R6 (check my picture gallery), the 600 is a great bike and it has plenty of power especially if you have it geared (up three tooth in the rear sprocket), you can't go wrong with that. As far as getting a 250 over these PB's is a different story.....PB's are portable toys, it costs less if you crash it messing around and the fun factor is greater....

you can find some good deals on eBay. Just be careful of who you are buying it from.

DO NOT buy from eBay. I recommend sites such as

    PocketBikeParts.Com
    HPMiniMods.com
    ADARacing.com
