I need to purchase a bike/snowboard rack. Im pretty sure its possible to get a rack that can do both. Does anyone have a set up like this that they can help me out. Which company seems to be the best? I heard either Yakima or Thule. Any help and advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    LukeS4,

The more reputable car rack companies are either Thule or Yakima.

A roof rack will consist of:

    Load bars/clamp
Accessories (bike carriers, snowboard/ski carriers) which attach easily to the load bars

I have a Yakima roof rack with Yakima "Cobra" bike carriers. Thule has pretty nice snowboard racks which I think I'm going to add on this fall.

If you want a little more info, check out either of their websites.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about specific racks.
