paging bugzy on magnaflow muffler

Hi, I wanted to know which magnaflow muffler you went with
the ss race series or univerisal? If not which series?
How does it sound? got any clips? I was going remus, but I heard a sound clip on audiworld and it sound really nice

i got the magnaflow resonators too

i think saturnine mentioned his setup had to make the hangers for the muffler stiffer

but i guess the S4 rear valence is more forgiving

Naw, i opted to get "hard" hangers.. By doing so, i was able to have the tips PERFECTLY centered in the cutouts.. I can stand on them, and they arent going to budge

How do these magnaflow muffler sound? Iam still debating on either going with borla muffler. Any have heard the borla? Awetuning has a sound clip but thats for the 2001 model, Iam sure it will sound somewhat different. I need some feedback on both of these mufflers, which one has more of a european sound?

Does anyone know the sound difference between their street and performance exhausts. Magnaflow said 25% more, but I dont know what its 25% more than. I was thinkin of going with the 14225, stainless, 2.25 inlet, 2.25 core, and then getting a 3.5" tip. The 4" tip is kinda large for my tastes. Should I go with 2.25 inlet and 2.5 core?

but this is the one i got, 2.25" inlet and 4" double wall tip

the sound is very nice ... quiet and subtle ... you dont hear it unless your on it ...

14829 is the street version of the same muffler can/tip/design. The race version (14851) has the same dimensions (2.25in and 4in out), but i assume a heartier sound?

Does your muffler has a deep bassy sound? I Have the universal muffler from magnaflow and it has a low bassy tone while in low rpms kind of quiet on high rpms.

would the magnaflow resonator change the sound? I was thinkig of changing the resonator to but not sure if it was going to make louder,

Iam running the magnaflow universal mufflers and did a small 2inch piping change from the resonator to the mufflers.

iam using the magnaflow muffler 14235, as for sound
it has a deep tone but I hear it more in the cabin then outside. At low rpms is where you hear it more on high rpm its hardly noticable. I use it more in tip mode since its like manual and it sound better. As for performance the car seems to have more low and high end power and the car runs smoother.
