    yes i am a noob if anyone did now know...haha. but my oil is low in my 97 1.8t and i dont know how much oil i put in it to make it full again! GAAAHHH! help please!

    Just put oil, and check you dipstick.

    i wanna say for a 1.8T it is roughly 4.2 quarts.

    Actually, the 1.8T is more like 3.7 quarts (including changing the filter, otherwise, more like 3.2 quarts). Overfilling is VERY very bad, mmmkay.
