Woke up this morning, checked my car and noticed that brake light was still on.
Pressed brake pedal few times and the light went off.
Has this happened to any of you guys before?

    Dejan,

Does this occur with all 3 brake lights (l/r + center?). I've seen this problem on MB's, but not on an Audi yet. The cause was a stuck solenoid switch on the brake pedal, which runs to the relay (why you hear a "click" when depressing the brake pedal). Cleaning the switch "should" fix the problem, if not have the dealer replace it (perhaps the relay as well).

Many cars these days are using lower grade conductors on the lighting systems, from aluminum to copper/brass on some cars, which corrode through moisture. (why you see many defective brake/parking lights on many new cars). Just sucks

    Thanks Jeff,
All 3 brake lights do stay on.
