    Quick Question: Shift Boot/Shift Knob

    hey I just got my Tycoon shift boot and it looks freaking sweet and I want to put it on but I don't know how to get the knob off (God that sounds bad hahaha) so if anyone could help me out here that would be great. Thanks guys.

    If you pull the boot all the way over the knob you'll see small clamp securing the knob to the shifter. Cut it and pull off the knob.

    What should I use to cut it? And could a zip-tie replace the clamp?

    Try to loosen it up with small tip screwdriver and then use side cutters.
    Yes you can use zip-tie, thats what I used on mine.
