    rocking seat?

Today while driving my seat felt like it cam disconnected to whatever hold the front of it down so now it rocks back and fourth like a rocking chair. After further inspection i saw that it did come loose from the frame it is attached to. Does anyone have any experience with fixing this or does anyone know if it is covered under audi assured?

    thanks guys

I don't have any experience fixing it, but I do know that I have similar issues with my seat. It feels like the bolts need to be tightend down. I think i'll take a look at it. Sorry, im not much help.

Heh when i had my 2000 gt the actual seat broke and did the same thing, its part of the mechanism that moves the seat up and down , scrap it and get a racing seat .

I'd get a recaro if i had some more ponies behind it, but right now its basically useless, the oem sport seats are fine. Maybe the dealer will give me a new one under warrenty.
I am Armed; i had the same problem at first, then i heard a poping noice and the seat's travel was multiplied. Now whenever i accelarate in first gear i rock all the way back

I had mine covered. The slider guides were worn down allowing it to move around.

dealer can't see it until the 21st. I took it to paul miller and they basically refused to tell me if it would be covered. The service manager came out and looked at it and said it might be the whole frame, but that i should call audi first, then bring it in to be diagnosed, which if it isn't covered will cost $95. Why would i have to call audi first, isn't that their job?
