    Hood Idea?

    Found the hood I eventually want to put on the car. Of course I'm gonna paint it, and not leave it CF. The one thing I really like about it is the position of the two intakes. It will definatly work well with the EVO system I have on the car now.

    and what do you mean of course your going to paint it every one doesn't paint their carbon fiber hoods so that people know it's carbon fiber and not fiber glass.
    Nevermind what other people think do your own thing.

    I think the FI vented hood looks alot better in my opinion. it has the side vents like you want but also heat release vent slits in the middle. looks alot better in my opinion. I 2nd the fact that that oval thing in the middle is ugly.

    Im not feeling the round design in the middle.

    It might look "ok" in CF but I think it will look like crap painted.

    umm one problem isnt geting your cai wett a problem because of lack of air flow because their is water clogging it basiacally, i mean i just heard that not a 100% sure that it is true!

    The water in the vents bring up a good point. and the rounded "V" thing in the middle is very ugly. When i get my CF hood, i'm not going to paint the whole thing, just a large majority of it. I saw that hood on ebay, isn't that like $700+like $100 shipping? I saw no.

    You dont have to go thru AWE. there are alot of Fiber Images distributers out there with cheaper pricing.
