uggh!

ok, i have to vent for a sec. so i was lowering my car for waterfest and 2 weels ago i ordered bilsteins from SPP. it's been 2 weeks and i havent received them yet and i called up eric for a tracking number and he said he couldnt find one and the reason was because they werent the perched ones (why would that matter?), but he'll try and find one and call me back. well he never called back. so i called fedex today and they have no record of a package from SPP shipped on the day SPP said it was shipped out on! they already charged me for them also. so now my car will be stock for waterfest and this sucks!

wow thats really weird. I dealt with eric for my suspension and he is usually pretty good about that stuff. Are they going to ship to you today?

damn, man that does suck!! sorry to hear about that. call eric again and tell him what Fedex said. And also, did you call UPS?? they might have sent it ups instead. And I saw a comercial the other day for a new company, but I can't think of thier name.

i dont know if they'll ship it to me today, i cant get through to them ever. all i get is the answering machine, but he usually calls back (except that one time). i'll try calling UPS, but it said fedex on the invoice/receipt that they sent me. i hope maybe he makes up for this by sending them overnight so i can get them installed asap.

well UPS is not helpful at all. they wont even tell me if a package was shipped.

am i the only one that can never get in contact with SPP? i can call them at 10am... answering machine... 10:10am... answering machine... 10:20... answering machine... 10:30... answering machine... etc. and it's like that alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day. i doubt they have a line of people waiting to come into the shop and buy stuff.

It's actually pretty busy over there lately. Everytime I go there eric is either on the phone or working on a car. The secratary is probably out if there is no answer. I almost always get at least an answer.

Sorry to say this, but what the hell was you smoking, You should have ordered the shocks from Awe-tuning.com, they are in PA, you would had it in 2 to 3 days max, now you are too late.

i wasnt smoking anything. i did first order them from AWE, but they were on back order and i didnt find that out until a week after i ordered them. so i canceled the order with AWE and called SPP. and SPP said they had them in stock, so i dont know why they weren't shipped yet.

FINALLY!! i got through to eric!! there was some drop ship with his supplier and it wasnt sent fedex and was sent UPS instead and i got a tracking number from eric.

*edit* i just tracked it and looks like it will be here thursday so i doubt i will be able to have them installed by sunday.

dra4: i PM'd you. who is your guy in NJ? and how far away is he and for how much? i remember evil saying he knew a guy in cherry hill that will do it for around 100. but if your guy is closer and the price is still good i'll go to him.

saturnine, if i was mechanically inclined when it came to cars i would . but considereing i had a moped when i was younger and tried fixing it one time but instead totally f'ed it up made me stay away from fixing anything that has an engine in it.
