Quick headlight Question

Okay I no I take alot of pictures of my car but I was wondering how come my headlights have a blue tint and I dont have HID. Do you think it is because of the lighting in the building or is it because of the projector balance at the moment.

Yeah Im sure because I dont see a ballast anywhere and when I bought the car they said they wouldnt give the Xenon to me

What do they look like when you first turn them on?

does the light pattern auto level and do they come on low and then get bright after a second??

if yes . . . then they are Xenon.

The ballast are on the bottom of the headlight housing, so you would not see it. If you want to know. take out the headlight and check it underneath.

You may have xenon or you may have some blue bulb.

Here is the thing the headlights dont power up and flicker when you turn the headlights on. I took off my headlights about a month ago and traded with BBaudi382 and I dont remember seeing a ballast.

By the way those are definitely Xenons or some sort of imitation "Blue Bulb".

when u turn it on.. do u see ur headlights tiliting and aligning for a bit?

Yep. I have them. The A8 kit would work on the Touareg

I dont see any tilting just turns on and that is it

okay i GUARUNTEE you those are halogen. those are my old housings and im 100% sure they are halogens.

as for the blue tint....have you switched bulbs? im 100% sure i took my superwhites from my old housings when we switched bulbs...

must be some weird lighting effect.

I have halogens (hopefully not for long) but depending on the distance and angle they sometimes have a blue tint to them, especially at the cutoff. I think its becuase of the projectors or something. My friend's Caddy CTS does the same thing.
