GIAC chip boost pressure and A/C?

Anyone with a GIAC chip notice a difference in boost pressure with and without the A/C on?

It seems like I get 14-15 psi without the A/C and around 17 psi with the A/C.

yeah, more boost with A/C on.

Is it possible the GIAC chip is programmed to counteract the negative effects of turning on the A/C and ups the boost pressure so performane is consistent with or without the A/C on?
