19 inch rims...

I was wondering if anyone has got 19 inch rims on their B5 A4. I have a 1.8T Quattro (Auto) and i was curious if 19 inch rims make the ride bouncy or rough. If so, i would settle with 18's. I would like to see what 19's look like, so if you got em...post some pics. ThaNKS

u can fit 19s, but they're gonna get dented so easily. my advice would be to go with 18s. i know i have 18s(albeit weak ones(Mille Miglias)) and mine are dented way to easily. i have a slight vibration right now bc one got messed up somehow

Word of advice. Run a search on a topic like this. There are many upon many B5's with 19's on. The moderator EVIL-Audi is notorious for having a sic 19" set up on his B5. And for good reason.

Doing a search for a topic like this can save you tons of grief...

You will need to roll your fenders to run 19's, or you will have rub city and probly end up cutting some rubber. And yes, your ride isn't going to be good, you dont' get 19's for the ride. :)

i gots some 19's, ride is pretty good actually. not rough at all. i'm on aftermarket sport springs and koni adjustables. check it out in the gallery. page 9. although i am more aware of where potholes are. don't rub much unless i gots people in the car.

I've had 19" and a considerable drop on my car for a long time. No they don't get dented easily. It all depens on what style and tyoe of wheel you have.

...and where you live. I know 19s would probably not survive around the DC area (even with relatively strong wheels), but in the 666-land, maybe their roads are smoother =P

im running 19s on mine. i had 18s and just got the 19s put on this weekend. i also have koni shocks and H&R springs for the drop

so far so good. as far as the wheels go, i chose a lightweight forged wheel to help with the strength. im detailing tonight and taking pics tomorrow.

anyways....i was going to post that b5s look good with either 18s or 19s....in fact, they pull 18s off better than b6s IMHO. so it seems the market is larger for the b5s.

so basically, i'm saying you cant go wrong either way.

uugh, this is just making more jealous.
