HID Fogs

Today I made the conversion from H11 to HIDs in my fog housing....

I know many think its pointless but I did it and there is no turning back

N e way.... the come on for 2 sec and turn off

I was searching here and on audiworld and can't find the thread that discusses the solution to this problem

Can anyone help please?!

what are details? what kit? how did you wire up?
check your ground?

what mcpath said is right..check all the wires..are they all connected and did you ground them correctly.
I just installed HID fog yesterday, it work perfectly fine

Did you install your projectors into your fog??? Check all the wiring. Make sure you have soldered the connections instead of just twist them together.

To troubleshoot it, take it out and wire it directly into the battery using jump start cable and see if it stays on all the time. If it does then it is your connection or your fog wiring.

I swapped my OEM HIDs with ProtoColD

I used my OEM projectors and modified the fog light housing :)

Are you running oem or aftermarket intercooler?
HOw did you fit the fog light on the driver side, I have no space with the oem?

well I had problem of them cutting off and it was a ground prob.

like I said, if your wiring does not have enough juice. You need to hook that up to the battery and run a relay to it for switching.
