    Got my control arms replaced...

    Just got my control arms replaced and I got the replaced parts back. What do I look at to tell if the arms are bad?

    take some close up pics for us. usually any cracks in the rubber boots. and metallic vibrations when you go through the control arm's natural movement

    move the ball joints, if they are fairly easy to move=bad, try to spin them, if they spin=bad, like agravic 2.0 said any cracks or rips=bad. Also check the bushings

    woohoo I got all mine replaced under the assured warranty...why i do not know but they did all 8 because the service manager didn't feel safe while driving it making all that thumping noises...
