    Buying a chip from someone on AW

    Im about to purchase a ECU with APR software on it, from a guy on AW. He doesnt seem shady, and i wanted to know what the best way to pay him would be. He lives in Massachusets and I live in So cal. What should I do ?

    I have non-dbw b5 ecu with apr software for sale in the classifieds.

    i've been 1 for 2 on the ecu's online. one the guy sold me was crap and I got stuck for $400. the other one (the one i'm selling) worked perfect, i just upgraded to a k04 so I don't need it.
    Big truck, a station wagon and a Mammoth place. Nothing too fancy.

    i have APR software in my car currently and i have had nothing but good things.

    I would like to hear where you got this info from:

    I've had more problems with GIAC software than the apr that I ran. i wouldn't sweat buying an apr box for a second. I wish they did k04 software for my car, i'd get it in a second.
