    asapargus releases a chemical or gas (dont know which) as the body digests it, i guess then u'r kidney's dumps that chemical into the bladder since there;s no use for it. Sounds pretty convincing/logical to me.

    right...asparagus contains some sulphur-containing amino acids, when you digest them, your body breaks them down into some (6?) different compounds, all of which contain (surprise!) sulphur...that's what gives it the smell...
