    Wow, serious fuzz goin on! Are you sure it was a 550? Although its hard to tell, looks more rounded, like a 356 speedster.

    yea after rethinking, it wasn't the 550. You were right with the 356. I think I was thinking too fast when I was posting it.

    the 550 spyder is a classic race car and putrageously expensive to purchase now a days (if one comes on the open market to begin with). I have never ever seen one on the open road. Only in a museum.

    I would have been amazed if it was one. 356's are still nice, especially the speedster . . . which also is expensive now. 356 B's are rather inexpensive to buy, 356 'C's with the larger engine and upgraded body (model before the 911) are more expensive then the 'B's.

    THIS is a Spyder! well, *actually*, it's a Beck 550 replica, but a fabulous replica at that. considering they sold the reps for something like $25K a few years back, quite a bargain.
