I've used the following info from AW to de-Bose my Concert radio w/CD changer:

    Bose code is 00117.

    Breakdown of number (12345) is:

    1. Country code. 0 is standard.

    2. Sound matching. 0 is only value mentioned.

    3. # of passive speakers.
0 - No passive speakers (Bose).
    1 - Passive speaker (Bose w/Phone).
2 - Passive front and 2 active rear
5 - Passive front and no active rear.

    4. Type of adjustment.
    0 - Standard.
    1 - Bose.

    5. Radio Configuration
    1 - Antenna
3 - Antenna and CD Changer
5 - Antenna and Secondary Display (NAV)
7 - Antenna, CD Changer, NAV

I've VAG'd it from code 00117 to 00107. I like the results (no boominess of base at low volumes, mid-range is up). However, I would like to know if anyone has experimented with the following settings:

    3. # of passive speakers.
0 - No passive speakers (Bose).
    1 - Passive speaker (Bose w/Phone).
2 - Passive front and 2 active rear
5 - Passive front and no active rear.

When VAGging I didn't change a setting in it (was 00117, now 00107). Would like to now if anyone has tried values 1, 2 or 5 and what exactly they do?

    Thanks for your help.
