Finished Audi Center Cap Pics on Flik Artics

Thanks to the inspiration of Distinct on AW, I went with the silver cap P/N 4B0-601-170-Z17 from Claire for $17 a piece. The silver color matches my silver car well and is close enough to the Flik wheel for me.

I'm only unhappy that I did not sand another 1/8" from the cap. I think it would look better if it was flush with the wheel.

Looks good Moops! However, I do tend to agree with you. I think they'd look a little bit better if they were flush. Still looks good though!

    Later,

why dont you take it off and sand it then? i think it looks good, but agree with the flush comment. it would look smoother that way.

I'll have to take the wheels off to remove the caps. Then either break the glue bond or cut the audi cap from the Flik cap, re-prep and glue again...definately more work than I want to do atm. Why I didn't sand it down first, I was lazy and afraid the audi cap paint would start chipping...

However next time the wheels are off I'll definately remove the caps and give it another go.
