So could I use this housing with my current xenon setup on my B6 or are additional parts necessary to install? Is this a self install job? Are these the housings with the chrome or black background?

chrome. You need to take out the projector units from your existing headlight into this one to get it to work. You can do it yourself.

Is this the heat gun process or is it simpler than that? Also, was this a stock housing w/ the amber inserts that was modified or was it originally clear cornered? Sorry for the stupid questions, but I'm interested in a clear corner setup w/o spending eight bills from LLTek.

I think it is amber headlight with it taken out. You would need to unbolt 3 small bolt on each headlight and take the projector out.

I had the original A4 xenon headlights and just removed the amber piece

(not with heat gun method!)

not the clearest pics, but if you still have them when you are in the bay area, I wanna see them, and I will have cash if they look ok.but if someone else wants them first, thats my loss.
