July 11 Toronto Meet

Okay me and my friend (the guy that drives that 911) is trying to organize something different for this Sunday if the weather holds up.

The plan is to drive somewhere, stop by at a park or what not and have lunch (it'll be a bring your own lunch perhaps) then go for a drive. He's looking at a possible driving route from one of his drives with the Porsche group. Forks was suggested as there is a park there then drive through the Forks (while adhering to all speed limits) then off to the cruise.

As soon as I get any further details on this I'll post here and everywhere else as usual.

I'm trying to find the route that the Porsche guys did from here and to Vineland Estates Winery. Friend of mine did that cruise last year and he said it was excellent. If I can't get it for this Sunday, regular lunch and the rest of the July weekends are busy for me :-(

What about up in the Caledon area, lots of nice drives in there.

I have two routes, one from Burlington up to the Forks that Stu lead, was a blast, I'm probably simplifying the route as I tried to figure out where the heck we were going

Another one was through the mono area as you mentioned, though we got llost somewhere in the middle and there were a few grid roads I wasn't expecting.

I should be around, and if so would definately be up for the Mono Hills one. There would be some nice places to stop to eat as well if that's the plan.

Okay, sorry guys, no formal cruise this Sunday. I left this a little late and can't get it organized properly.

Therefore we'll have our lunch at the usual spot for this month:

Boston Pizza, Mississauga

6978 Financial Drive, north on Mississauga Road (west of the 410) then east on Derry Road, then south on Financial Drive.

I am trying to get a organized fun run cruise for August 14th. The plan is to start from Toronto and drive through the Niagara vineyards and end up at Vineland Estates for dinner.

I actually had lunch there two years ago, great place, great scenary (and great scenary during the drive). I'm trying to get the route that the Porsche club took to get there as there were a lot of people that found the route great and enjoyable. Spouses/significant others are more than welcome to join.

So if you are interested in the cruise let me know and more so for the lunch as we'll have to make reservations.
