Gmail works great for managing all of those messages on the group.

It does a not bad job of grouping messages into a thread, and at least I now have a reliable way of posting to the group from work whereas before Yahoo groups would not allow me access (because the entire company goes through a single firewall and it looks like to Yahoo that it's getting hit hard from a single workstation and begins to block it), and Rogers always had a 2-3 hours delayd during the day.

So far bunch of people seen the thread but nobody responded back if they are interested in karting.... will keep an eye.

    Thanks Mike.
Unfortunately all those email accounts have been blocked here at work. I should set it up from my gmail account, might make it a lot easier.

I've been a little busy the past couple weeks but I would also be interested. I'll try contacting a guy that I know that owns a track and see if he can get us any good pricing.

Stu today mentioned that there's an outdoor track in Hamilton up on the hill near the airport. I raced there about four years ago but it seems that they now allow for dropins. These are MUCH faster than your indoor karts.

hmmm, any more details on that Tanner?

Thanks a lot Ramik, appreciate that. I was looking into Formula Kartways, seems like the place most mentioned from past experiences.

It's called Cameron Motorsports. They have a small public track there and a large private track.

If they allow the public on the private track - it is well worth it. I've raced there for a few years in the past and it's good times - but you WILL NOT have fun there if you don't follow proper track etiquette. There is absolutely no bumping and no spinning out. They WILL throw you off the track.

Formula Kartways will be good times also, not as fast, but fun none the less.

That's the one. Yes, they will NOT tolerate any bumping or whatsoever - they even told me that I was riding the brake which I was not. It still is fun because you'll quickly get into a competitive mode.

Hopefully helping my friend move out of her condo that day will finish well before then. Or you guys will luck out because I'll be so tired and exhausted that I'll be an easy kart to pass haha.... uh no :-)

I did the 20+20 laps without the practice/qualifying. Even that for me was tiring on my arms - gotta stop doing the death grip hold on the steering wheel.

Note the Grand Prix format runs in the morning I believe in order to accomdate the number of sessions, etc.

    That's true.

We'll see if Toronto B6 (Ramik, hope I got the spelling) was able to get a hold of his buddy and find anything out for his track. Either way we need to go karting sometime soon.
