Anyone paint the lower horizontal cross pieces on the louvers? I was thinking of painting them black on my silver S4, think it would look good? Do you follow what I mean?

i did that on my S4 front. paint them a gloss black though. all i did to prep them was to scuff them witha scratch pad and 2 coats of base and 3 coats of clear..they look good on my black a4.

Yeah you're stock grill looks sweet all shiney!

I think TJ just wants to paint the middle part that is silver on his car. So it looks like one big opening from further away. It would be like the easy way to do the Rs4 mod to the s4 bumper.

yea i understand what it wanted. I say go for it. and while your at it you might as well just respray the entire bumper..its alot easier the tring to mask the bumper off.
