Jeff,
This isn't meant to engage you in a debate but most of us aren't flaming each other, most of us just wanna be sure that a product will live up to it's companies claim, we have different view points on what the facts are, but there is the truth in all this. Derrick and I have experience with both GIAC and Revo, you don't, that's just a fact, I think are opinons are valid and were not flaming anyone but speaking from personal experience. I know my car very well, so please don't lecture me on that as you did in your novel in Jeff's post, although I appreciate you taking the time to do so. Some of us got personal and a little hot headed, I think that's done now. It's been a constructive debate if you ask me because this will let companies know we want the truth/ or at least somewhere in the vicinity of it. I think Revo and David at Eurocodetuning proved what they can do, they've got it on tape, and the footage doesn't lie.
I never really "flamed", perhaps I am a bit more "talkative" using some strong words, and if that offended you and gave you the wrong idea in any way, I do apologize. I showed that video to some of my M3 friends, and they were AMAZED. I'd again like to say "Good Job" with the video, I watched that thing 3 times, and even showed my GF who always like to bash Audi's for being "slow" (she's a Bimmer lover).
It's not often that you see an actual VIDEO, what you see mostly on this forum is "claims" or shit like "When our products come out, it's going to do xxxxx". I'm glad you guys took the time in making the video, and not just "hyping" something our of proportion. Personally I do NOT think it's ethical business practice. Marc at AMS did the exact same to my car, when he RIGGED the free dyno raffle to put MY car up on their dyno (him knowinf that I was running Neuspeed software at the time, and wanted to embarass me). My car dynoed 195hp on the MAHA on chip alone and nothing else, but the guy started bashing those numbers...saying "When OUR chip comes out...it's going to ....". As most of us have found out, 195hp on chip alone really aint "that" bad if you look at most of the other dynos out there, but at the time, AMS was claiming well over 220. Don't get me wrong, I am not an all-out GIAC guy either, despite Neuspeed's "low power" numbers, I still stood behind him. The guy soon lost most of his credibility, as well as his ABT contract eventually--what goes around comes around. This is another reason why I refuse to dyno my car at HIS facility, regardless who pays for it.
But all in all, awesome video man. :)
