    k04 package - anyone have any thoughts

    here is the package - what are peoples thoughts on it. i see 5 bar a lot

    1) ko4-015
    2) 4 x 310cc injectors
    3) 1 x 3 bar FPR (stock is 4bar)
    4) custom GIAC software for the NDBW AEB motor with
    3100cc's.... set at 17psi at WOT
    4 wheels
    2 headlights
    1 glovebox
    1 ac unit
    1 radio
    1 engine

    If you have the injectors you should be fine.

    personally I'm not too keen on buying a used turbo kit, but I guess that's just me. The price seems decent if the mileage is low.

    will i risk running rich with the 5bar because the guy said he talked to garret lim at waterfest last year and this is the setup he had him on. he got a special giac file for it as well.

    NO with larger injectors you use the smaller 3 bar FPR...with a 4 or 5 bar you would burn rich.

    I have this setup on my car and have been very pleased with the performance. (I had a few issues to get it to the point i'm at) I would consider a adjustable FPR. And FYI there's more than one software file available for this setup I've run both the verdict is still out on the file thats in the car now just got it a few days ago and haven't had a chance to drive it much yet.
