anyone switch from a borla v1 to a v2? Just wanted to know if that eliminated the rasping. Mine really rasps, its not even subtle.

haha yeah I've got a borla V1 also. AWE sells just the borla V2 muffler for $169 IIRC. Shouldn't be hard to switch them at all.

sweatness just wanted to make sure, becasue i heard rumor that it still sorta rasps. just more subtle. I dont want any rasp what so ever. any recommendation on a magnaflow muffler only? I was to try a few different end-mufflers. They have so many. is there somehting i should be looking for? btw i'm 2.5in diameter.

Yea I did back in the day...

My V1 Borla actually sounded fine...but I switched to the V2 for the improved muffler tips...it looked damn nice...

Its a super cheap upgrade as such, and you may even get to sell on the v1 muffler to someone...
