My parents brought back a few plates from Stuttgart in 1990. I have a long and short plate set, and a couple short plates.

My question is, Does the long plate go on the rear and the short plate go on front? I'd only be doing this for pictures except for the front plate, which would stay on.

I think it's obvious that I don't care how fast my car is.

I would assume that the short plate goes in the rear because there are four holes in it, and the long in the front since there are only two holes. Not real sure though.
