Ok i currently have an 88 onmi and my98 a4 on the policy. I just added the 01 s4.
I haven't sold the a4 yet so just adding the s4 to the policy raises it $850 every 6 months.

    If i get rid of the a4 it raises my policy $180. Doing the math)a4=$260 + 180 = $440 for the s4.

So my question is why does it cost over $800 to insure the s4 when i have 3 cars on the policy and only a little over $400 when i have only 2 cars?

YOu would think i would get a cheaper rate the more cars i had.

According to the insurance company that is just how it works out.

Insurance companies blow ass any way you slice it. You pay in and you pay in and you pay in and when you have a issue they cancel you or raise it dramatically.... F*** THEM!

Sorry, just had to say that, I hate them. LOL

Just feel lucky that you live in PA, and not in NYC.

The idea of insurance is to diversify risk, thats how in the end they make money. Not every person wrecks, bangs or crashes...actually only a minor amount of people do, hell then your rate goes up to compensate for the capital they lost in order to fix your blunder. With this idea the more cars you have the more risk you run, and the more the company has to diversify their risk so the higher your rates go.

Cj-s4...thats insane, I can't believe a S4 is more to insure than a vette, I would say the opposite but maybe thats why I dont work for Aetna.

When I sold my 99 Cobra, I was paying $1014. every six months. The S4 brought it down to $774. every 6. Another idea, if you live in a downtown area, your insurance will be higher. Mine changed ~$26 a month more for the 7 months I lived in downtown San Jose, moving back to the burbs lowered it. I have a box at a mail place that all my mail goes to now, including insurance, and it is cheaper in that zip code then my current one.
