What was the point of the hole? Just to shoot things? And the Laptop. Without a recharge for the battery, thats pointless. The laptop would only last a few hours. And he wants to sell sand from the whole for like $12?

I think he did it because he could. I think he likes the silliness and pointlessness of it. Not to defend him at all, but I think we have all at some point said "Wouldn't it be cool if we (insert stupid idea here)." He just made good on that stupid idea and had fun with it. Personally, I think it would be kind of fun to do something like that, not that I would ever actually do it, but it would be fun anyway (no i am not a redneck, hick, or "cajun"

i dont think he was too weird... it seems he loves to hunt and the point of the hole was to camoflage him. he just made it fun to build and i actually enjoyed reading about it. now buying dirt for $12 is just crazy.

it was a deer stand. and i think hes a ww2 fan, thus the ak pics and the resemblence of a machine gun nest.

I didn't think it was that weird, kinda neat. But if he were to shoot a rifle in that hole it would be very loud, and prob. hurt his ears pretty bad. The snake think was a little strange though...
