Hella 550 fog lights and Hella dual air horns! My Taco sounds like a euro car now LOL and it's hella loud to boot!

here you go anth: Night shots I pointed them down a tad lower but it's a nice wide beam.

The 550s are a nice set of lights, good choice! Be sure take and post some nighttime shots. Still trying to pick a good auxiliary lighting setup for the GTI...

Not sure if I'll go as large as the 550s, but we'll see. Although I thought the 500s were the round ones and the 550s were rectangular. A 6" diameter may be too large for the GTI, looking for something closer to the 3"-5" range. There are some very nice PIAAs getting my attention as well...

The GTI has no fogs, and IMO it could really use them or a good set of driving lights to enhance the lighting a bit further down the road than the HIDs are covering.

So you mounted both horns sideways? I'll have to try that on the 2.0L. I was thinking of adding another compressor to make it sound better.

Andre A4: yah i sold those couple weeks ago...sad to see them go but there's something better on the horizon.

Randrew: Yes the horn mounting was super easy...all pre-existing holes up front to mount the horns and compressor. Couldn't have been easier. The Toyota wiring is pretty cool too, the horn is postive and the bolt that mounts the OE horns ground them out. So i just plugged one of the wires into the compressor and then grounded it...easy peasey...it truly is a distinctive honk...I LOVE IT!!! Now when i do phatom honks at peeps they wont know that it's coming from a truck!!! LOL

you know now I will be honking that dam thing more w/ these horns!!! LOL...

for those that dont know...i am notorious for driving down the road and honking...randomly honk and stick my hand up in a 'HI' motion...even when there's no one around...and randrew (thrawn) almost always sinks down in the seat when i do...it's hilarious...

modding a taco is one of the easiest things to do. toyota made them very mod friendly. how's yours holding up to it's strenuous daily excersizes?

you're absolutely right about that kyle...they maximize the economy of scale and use a lot of similar parts throughout their production line. i understand that their wiring loom is identical throughout...so it's super easy to get some other toy's navigation HU and plug it right in without any fuss.

The Scion's HU even plugs right up for that OE look

The taco is very good...those mall speedbumps are hellatious!!! but sometimes i get to it out on the dirt for work! that's when it's fun...

yeah, i hear the mall can be a rough place at times. it's good that you're doing alright with those soccer mom's, speed hills, and shopping carts. you might want to invest in a brush guard for a few of those abnormally tall children though.

LOL... Yeah, but I give them the "hellohowareyou" every now and then. But I'm telling you, you're gonna scare the crap out of someone one day, and cause a driver to yank on the wheel and slam into a tree... I've seen it happen...

Nice work, my bro got a nice lower guard and driving lights on his (thanks to me) two years ago. Nothing beats them when your driving back country roads late at night. They light up the road for miles and makes you think its daytime.

Yes Ryan it's been offroad meng...i love this thing. Have to find a piazzo horn to connect to my truck because now that the air horns are attached when i arm the alarm there's not enough juice to power the compressor to honk/chirp the horns so gotta find one of them...any leads anyone?
