    Lightbulb A4 2.8 1996 Preformance parts

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I'm current looking for parts for my 1996 2.8 A4.

I would like to put on an exhaust and a ported throttle body and a port intake manifold if I can find out.

If anyone out there is selling them. Or, knows someone that is please send me an email.

If you don't know anyone, but know a website, or have bought parts for your self.

Can you please give me the model numbers and names of the parts you did use.

    Thanks

    Ed

Have you done any searches on this site for that topic Ed? If so, then you would already know there are are very very few performance parts for the 12v V6*I got one too*

Just go up to the right side of your screen, where it says "Log In, Control Panel..." And click on search. And then do a search for things like 2.8 performance, or 2.8 exhaust. That will help you out.

Other than exhaust and some little other things, you'll be paying $$$$$$ for custom things to make it quicker.

yeah, unfortunatly there aren't really any "real" mods we can do without spending some $$$. As far as exhaust goes I would just do a custom one. In the end it would prob. be cheaper. Good luck finding stuff, and if you do let us know!!

Hear is one thread that I started, and after only 7 posts, they locked it(3 of which were mine, the orignal ?? and two follow ups to things others had posted.) Then out of curiosity I asked in the lobby why the thread I started got locked, and they locked that one too. I wasn't trying to be an ass or anything just wondering if I had done something wrong. Oh well, maybe you will have better luck.

lots of forum communities get pissed to a an extreme when people ask questions that could of been answered by seraching the archives. I think that is one of those communities. There is a 12v supercharger, but I don't believe it is made any more, so you'd have to find a used one.

Other than a supercharger, the only real options as far as engine performance would be intake / filter, exhaust, chip (at least for the 30v) electric fan kit, pulley kit, perhaps a modified/new throttle body, maybe some new wires. There really isn't much power to be gained without going the expensive or custom route.

But, don't be discouraged. The car can still be a lot of fun. There are still a boatload of sexy suspension / chassis / drivetrain / exterior / interior mods that you can purchase to make the car look and handle like a madman!
