Can I post a photochop request?

Can someone chop a black centercap in the middle (keeping the bolts exposed please) and then chop a silver centercap in there? Preferably chop them with a) a 4 rings "decal" in the center of the cap ... and b) an audi sport logo "decal" in the center of the cap ??

Heh. "photochopping" or "chopping" an image is slang for altering an image in photoshop. Appreciate any help you can lend in chopping it.

I can lighten the center cap if you want, but IIRC audi center caps are a little darker than most silver finishes

Where did you get those AudiSport logos?

I think those would look good on the rims. Either way it will finish them off nicely.

I went with the light silver metallic centercaps with red audi sport logo in the center - took out the two slashes on the side, it's just the single red slash with the rings. Similar to what's on the Audi Sport rubber floor mats. Pics soon.

BMW dealer. 36-13-1-095-361 is their part number. What is the size of the wheel's center cap area? These are 70mm in width, needed slight modification to fit flush. $3.75 apiece.

Hey Zodiak... I finished them in the light silver metallic, but I'm not so sure I like it. What does everyone think of a chrome-colored center cap (to match the bolts) ? Could you pshop that Zodiak? I'm thinking I might go black with it now... I need to get ahold of some more decals... I need to take pics of what I have now.

yeah, take some pics of what you have now, I'll see if I can find a flat surface of chrome to pshop on there. What don't you like about the current setup?

I think the black with all red slashes with the one red audi sport one would look super tight!

making a representation of chrome in PS is a PITA since it's really a mirroring surface. This was the best I could do, hope it gives you a decent idea of what it would look like. If anyone has a suggestion on how to "draw" chrome any better on such a small area, please let me know, I'd like to learn.

Yeah, I am thinking I may go with the black. I doubt I will find a "high gloss silver" color that will exactly match the wheels, so offsetting it with black might look good.

I didn't bring my digicam cable with me, so I won't be able to get pics until Sunday. I'll keep you posted... I'll put pics up and see what everyone thinks. Or maybe it's the red Audi sport throwing it off, maybe I should just put rings on. Ugh, decisions.
