A4 alarm is shit...

Just got home and I go to hit the remote to lock my doors. I don't get the beep so I go back and open all the doors,truck and hood a reclose them. So I set it again and still no beep. So now I go back and make sure all windows are shut, get back out and hit the remote again, still get no beep. So I'm like screw it go inside and 5min later the fooking alarm is going off. So I go back out side and reshut all doors and windows, still no fooking beep. Now I'm like screw it, so I dont even reset the alarm I just go back inside. 5min late the fooking alarm is going back off. WTF I did not even set the thing.... Anyone have a clue why this piece of shit is doing this???

are you sure all the windows are closed and the sunroof too? the motion/pressure senser or whatever it is is easy to set off with an open window/sunroof. try pressing the little button on the bottom of the B piller by your drivers seat and then setting the alarm.

Well my car has a mind of it's own. I go back out and now the alarm sets. I did not do a thing but hit the button...

Could it be from the heavy rain we just got????

no idea probly. i agree though, the stock "alarm" if you can call it that, is totally worthless. i'd get an aladdin 2000 alarm, but i probably wont have this car for long enough to make that worth it. besides i have a gated house, and i usually park where i can see it, so i think im safe. or atleast i hope...
