be careful doin that $hit. it's so hard on the car. i was doin that in the snow and broke my axle. i know it's mad fun, and i know my axle prolly had a defect previously but still, take it easy with those. i wouldn't advise doin it more much longer than nick did

if you dont have a warranty, and you broke stuff that badly last time... dont do it, i wouldnt. i dont have snow, and there isnt really anything i can break in the rain like that, its a solid car.

Your situation was either a freak accident (defective axle), or you pushed the car too hard in the wrong conditions. If one wheel caught traction while you were giving it more and more gas the shock could possibly break something along the drive train. But I have never heard you incident happen to anyone else. You need a good few inches of snow on the ground to really pull it off "safely".

Also I'd suggest only doing spins like these once or twice, if at all. Any more than that and you'll probably blow your powersteering pump. It has to work extremely hard when you gun the throttle and have the wheel turned to full lock.
