My car is/has been for sale for about a week. Last night I had the urge to go take pictures at 10:00 or so. Last photoshoot with this car. Please leave comments, good and bad.

I know the lower grills on the front are not there. The passenger one became missing the other day, so I took the driver's one out to make it look less awkward. After I get the bumper painted, I'm going to buy an exhaust for it and the other grill, that is, if I have it that long.

Nice pics! I really like the ones that are blue and stuff. Why keep modding it if your gonna sell it? Midaswell part it out and keep it man. Seriously these cars are nice and they are very tuff! The 2.8's can rack some serious amount of miles on them! Just keep it man and do yourself a favor!

Yah i saw your millage at 108XXX... My cars a 2000 and it has 105K on it, 2.8 litre too. they take a beating for sure. Why do you want to sell??? Killer wheels... let me know how much they are if you part out (PM ME) Ill send you my 16 stocks if u need a replacement.

I've got all the stock wheels still (1 spare and 4 snow tires - brand new)... I'm selling it basically because I can. I can buy cars wholesale, so I can afford a 1997 BMW 528i which is newer and bigger, but not like A6 bigger.

It NEEDS an exhaust before I sell it, there's a hidden rattle and leak somewhere along the line. I've only spent around $4,500 on the car (plus wheels/tires - xmas present), including buying it ($3,400). So I'm making pure profit.

Beautiful pics, but I think if you're going with a 5 series you should get a bigger motor (My dad's old 540iL was a friggin' beast!)

I wish I could get a 540, but I can't afford it in the E39 body style. A '97 528i is $7,000-$8,000 wholesale with around 80-100k miles. The 540 is considerably more. So if I wanted a 540, I would have to get an older E34 one. The 528 holds its own though, around the same performance as the A4. 196hp / 205tq I think, but is a little bit heavier.

Nothing is yet set in stone though. I was going to get a 1995-1997 740iL, but decided against it as it is a gigantic beast. Would be cool though. Then it was an E34 535i wagon, but decided a newer E39 (though non-wagon) style 5er would be nicer and a little cooler.

18x8.5 ASA AR1s. They've taken a lot of potholes, curbs (not curbing, going OVER them , and other crap). They don't have a knick, scratch, or bend in them whatsoever. They're pretty much indestructible (knocks on wood).
