    245/40x18 on 2002 A6 2.7T ?

I've finally found wheels that I like for my 2002 A6 2.7T -- it's gonna be the BBS RE in 18x8 ET35. I know the recommended tire size is 235/40x18, but I'd like a bit more meat on the rims -- 245/40x18 to be exact.
The obvious question -- will they fit, or will they rub? My suspension is totally stock.
    Thanks for any advice!

We show as fitting with the possibility of a fender lip roll or inner liner modification.
