Where to get spring compressors?

Uh, I need spring compressors to install my springs. Is there any place I could rent them or do I have to buy them?

Make sure you get these ones thou.

Auto stores sometimes have them as loaner tools.

me and yellow did my springs without a spring compressor.

Not a smart thing to not use a spring compressor. You can die by the spring shooting something

i just don't like the delay of putting is on and taking it off... if you know the trick then you'll be fine

here's the trick:

-lay the spring/shock assembly on the floor

-put the bottom end of the shock against the wall

-step on the spring

-position your impact gun on the top end of the shock

-put your tire behind the impact gun, as close as possible

-fire up the gun, BAM! done! spring will not shoot or go anywhere, nor you feel something....

not even 3 seconds compare to 1min to 2 minutes
