Shops in long island?

Does anyone know some good shops that I can have work done on my car that are on long island? I can't find any

i like the guys at long island motorwerks. they're really friendly and i sometimes just chill and talk with them about their projects. ive never had any work done by them but they always have projects goin on so i assume they do good work.

RPM racing does good work, but they totally screwed me over on a job. They wouldn't give me an estimate until they were done...I ended up paying 95 for an oil change, 1.5 hours to put on a bolt on exhaust, 1 hour to put in an intake, 1.5 hours to put in injectors, .5 hours to put in a chip (1995 M3)

Their labor is like 85 an hour....the bill was ridiculous. I got into the biggest fight with them. It sucks, because they do good work there and I was confident in them.

wow that sucks. They charged me $148 to do an alignment, weld up my remus muffler (pipe separated from body), and NYS inspection.

yeah....RPMRacing does good work but they are known to be pricey$$$$....

I had the biggest fight with them, then trashed them on bimmerforums.com....so I don't know if I want my car in their hands. It's a shame, I thought I found a good place. I guess I'll try the place in huntington.

anyone got a number? I need a turbo timer installed in the cup holder

that sux....now u know not to go there if u want to save money

The work was top notch though, I'll never take that away from them. I'd trust them to put a turbo in, engine swap, anything like that.

i agree.....they are well known in the porsche world/forums.....and that's how i found out about them....my cousin has a 944 and brought it there.....
