Feeler: FS JDP CF Engine Cover(98+ A4)

I purchased this engine cover about a week ago from jdpengineering for $159(139 + 20s/h), and found out it does not fit. You can email them and they will give you the same price. I have a 97 which utilizes 2 plastic pieces to cover the engine. This should fit 98+ engines which have one large plastic piece. Also my engine cover is secured by clips while the newer ones are held in place by 3 screws.

I would like to get 140 shipped just to get some of the money back. My loss is your gain. It is brand new. As you can see in the pics you have to drill the holes yourself. The weave is not exactly perfect but not too noticeable. please see photos for detail. If you want a perfect one you can spend $265 at AWE, but for just an engine cover thats too much.

are you sure you can't just buy the 3 metal clips from the dealer? Someone told me a while back that the valve cover has the mounting areas and you just need the clips to screw the engine cover into. might be worth checking into
