Revo Vs. GIAC Dyno Day

I am putting up the cash to do dyno testing against these two chips. I am calling out the REVO and GIAC dealers to make a stand once and for all.

My plan is to take a stock/near stock car and slap it on the dyno. This will give us a baseline. Next we flash the ECU with the GIAC tune and make a run. Then we flash with the REVO tune and make a third run. No more BS or speculation. I need some GIAC/REVO retailers to step up and take the challenge.

Who accepts???

David at EuroCode has accpeted the challenge for REVO. So where is GIAC? Jeff you out there? Too scared to give this a try?

Neither one of them have a Stage 1+. I think you are thinking of APR. It will be at AMS on the MAHA if I can get a GIAC rep to come out. So far, no one is willing to. But it will be both GIAC's and REVO's regular (I guess you can call it Stage1) chip.

moxy has the AMS and he says its a pretty good deal. although he said its not as aggressive as the GIAC or the REVO.

i considered AMS too but as far as i know they dont have the flash programming... only the soldered chips...

is this correct?

Hey I don't know who you are. But Moss has been around long enough IMO to have a little more respect when calling him out like you did. You just started this post 5-6 hours ago dick head. That would be awesome to see a comparison of the two chips on the same car, same dyno, same day. Hope this comparison pans out. A lot of people are looking forward to this!

Once again you are out of line and do not scare anyone. Don't think you can bully Jeff, me or anyone else on this forum. If you can't admit that your post to Jeff was out of line and disrespectful than you must think your shit don't stink either.

You can't expect a man to take your seriously with such posts as yours. The way you are approaching it is going to get you no where. You said you would call him after you stated that he was hiding behind a screen name and that he was scared. If you want real responses and to be taken seriously then you have to learn how to carry yourself.

As you can see from the other thread, Jeff has no desire to prove anything to you or the B6 community, he stated that there is room in this industry for both tuners to strive. Which is the truth. Both are excellent tuners with alot to offer. So go ahead and make your decision and stick with it. If you are so interested then maybe you should find yourself 2 identical B6 A4s and go with each stage 1 tuner and do the runs yourself, or take advantage of their trial periods. I don't see why a representative from each tuner has to take time out of their busy schedules(are you paying for their time also?) to prove something they have no interest in doing, if of course both programs are off the shelf and require any onsite custom tuning. I know both parties personally (Dave and Jeff) and have spent enough time with both individuals to know that they are both stand up guys. You can't come at either of them claiming they are scared and hiding behind screen names. Neither individual owns GIAC or REVO, but license distributers of each. Jeff didn't commit to your 'dyno shoot out' there for he can't be labelled as backing out or being scared of something he hasn't agreed to. If I were him I wouldn't even take your thread seriously, you can call someone as many names or claim as much as you want, it isn't going to change a thing. If you have such a stong passion for this, as well as the B6 community, and your funding the dyno costs...why not get a bunch of AZers to donate a couple bucks and split the cost for the software or do a trial period as well as the dyno runs. There is no need to call people out the way you have done, you will get no where doing so, and ultimately not be taken seriously.

Another thing you don't wanna meet Villains face to face. How would you react? Jeff Moss is claiming 250Hp from a GIAC chip on a K03, that is a flat out lie, IMHO. So you're gonna tell me that my little K03 w/ some special XR chip is gonna do what your 2.7t B5 S4 does off the lot? My post was not a 'teen style' post, but an angry response to a childish post from Villains. Your telling me 'what would i do' when I meet Villain after what i posted, what about what he has said to Jeff on his post? Just like Jeff I am going to dissmiss his childish comments.
BTW I never said I was backing up either tuner. I have great respect for each, my close friend mike(Simpply) runs REVO and I along with other friends of mine run GIAC. From what I've seen both are stand up tuners companies like i said before. Villains AZ rep doesn't give him the right to approach Jeff or Dave or anyone that has been in the business for that long. To them he is nobody and the AZ rep doesn't mean shit sorry to say. You can't expect to be taken seriously with those choice of words. Like I said I'm not claiming anything and I'm not taking sides. The best way to handle the 'dyno shootout' is to do it all yourselves with your real cars and real software. There is no need for the tuners to be present, if you are so stuck on proving either party wrong then dyno it and bring it to GIAC/REVO. You cant be disrespectful and call anyone out like that because you are going to get nowhere. end of story

there you go step one is complete. Now find someone to let you borrow an GIAC stage 1 software ECU and get a stock ECU for REVO flash. No need to call Dave or Jeff out.
