    love both of those bumpers...

    ... that's what you get with winter... 2 sets of wheels, 2 sets of front bumpers...

    it did, didn't it... but it just happened that way, the Sportec, S4 rear bumper and Xenon-Plus were ordered/paid for back at the end of Dec '03... i picked up the S4 front bumper at the beginning of March '04... the Sportec/S4 rear only came in April, took them to the body shop right away, then discovered there were issues with the Sportec, so went ahead with the S4's while the Sportec was being repaired... then run into paint-match issues and it took about 4 weeks before i could drive off with the S4's on, and the 2 weeks later i was able to pick up the repaired Sportec bumper...

    so in not even a month i went from stock to S4 to Sportec... hopefully that won't change until late November...

    personally i think that the S4 SHOULD have had the sportec styling...the "chin" on the sportec makes it for the audi...the S4 one just kind of drops down and is done.

    agreed, but with the s4 bumper, leaves room for aftermarket improvement. can someone say add-on chin?

    You know what it is.. The S4 bumper needs the same style fog grille inserts as the Sportec does.. Then i think the S4 bumper would look really good..

    Either way, i like'em both

    IMO the Sportec looks better from the side, and the S4 one looks better from the front.

    agreed - if the sportec grilles looked more like the A4/S4 center ones, they'd be money and it would be no competition

    i may have to look into that...although i notice the fog light position is a bit off from the A4's location so that might pose a problem w/ fitment. i mean i guess i can relocate the fog to accommodate the S4's fog location but how much work that's involed it dunno.

    Nice looking bumpers... was the center hood grille also changed out (are they the same in both pics)? Where do you get and how much does the Sportec one cost? Does it re-use your stock fogs? Are the B6 A4's fogs the same as the B6 S4's (or are the different like in the B5 line)?

    just one thing to keep in mind though, the lighting conditions were brighter when the pics of the S4 were taken and the grilles caught more lights than in the pics of the Sportec...

    the Sportec does re-use the fogs of the A4, and like the B5, the housings of the fogs are differents btw the A4 and the S4... they mount differently.
