anyone use a treo 600 cell phone?

i have sprint and i have the sanyo vm-4500 video/camera phone but its got too many bugs and its beginning to bug me, the treo looks kinda cool, ive never had a pda/cell combo before and just interested in what you guys think of it.

they're big! hehe depends on what you use it for, but i would get a blackberry over a treo but no camera... so still P800 (or P900, if they frickin drop the price already!) is the one to get... camera, video, music, pda, phone, etc.

i hate iden i'm glad that nextel finally got small phones...gsm is going out...3g gsm will eventually converge w/ CDMA...

yep 3G/UMTS is the future, i think ima go back to 3GSM/WCDMA when they implement the EDGE technology in the future!

Ive seen and used the Treo 600. Im not a big PDA user so its not for me but many people who use it and are Palm users rave about it. It's not as big as some might think. Its also sold w/o a camera now on the Sprint network.
The SCH-i600 is a great phone on the Microsoft Smartphone OS and its one of the smaller ones w/ that platform.
The P900 (GSM - T-Mobile, AT&T, Cingular) is a great lil gadget (its a bit smaller then its predacessor (sp) P800) running the Symbian OS. Yeah the price is still up there, I sell it w/o activation for $770. But there is a great demand for them and people are willing to pay for it.
There is also the i-mate Pocket PC and Smartphone2 (GSM).

For regular phones (non-pda), Verizon is supposed to be coming out w/ the Motorola V710 sometime soon ive read on phonescoop. Itll have a 1.? megapixel camera, mp3 player, Bluetooth (1st phone to have it for Verizon), Speakerphone and a bunch of other things. This is the phone Ill probably be upgrading too when it comes out.

$770 for P900? still? hehe i got my P800 for $500 when it first came out and price was $900-$1200 , anyways that is still an overprice for the P900 which is not as much better than P800... the only difference is the color, P900 has 65k of color other than that you can do some tricks on the P800 to make it run like P900 without 65k color, my P800 right now is running same software as the P9 w/ video capabilities just a little grainy.

i think nickel1.8 wanna buy my P800 *hint* *hint*

Sprint sells the Treo 600 both ways now (w/ and w/o a camera). Sorry I didnt make it more clear. They released a non-camera version for companies and government agencies that restrict camera phones from entering the buildings for security reasons.

hahaha, yeah still. I dont see it dropping for at least a month or two. And yeah the P900 VS P800 isnt that much different.

Im currently using a SE Z600 w/ my T-Mobile account and this is one of the better color screens Ive seen on a phone. Camera is eh. It could be better. Easy wap access to customize the themes, wallpaper and screensaver (as seen here ). Signal is good in most places even w/o an external antenna. Clarity is on par with other SE's Ive used (T68, T68i, T610). Bluetooth connects fine w/ headsets n BT speakers.

yea, the treo 600 has a camera and you can get a videocam app for it.

i dont want to drop sprint because i have a lot of stuff i like with it. unlimited internet that i can use on my laptop as well, unlimited texts, 2000 minutes, all kinds of good stuff. the treo Ace/610 is coming out soon that is supposed to be good but i guess ill just buy that one too when it comes out.

i would get a p900, but they dont have them for sprint, and i dont want to change carriers. and yea, i know about porting, thats not the problem.
