Think I will go with the Stasis/ Koni's. Read some really good stuff about them. $500 for the install will not cut it though

I would shop around. I got my suspension installed for about $200.

I know guys in SoCal were getting it done for $150. Cheapest I found up here in Denver is $70/hr ~ 5 hrs. Still painful. That is what you get for using tuning shops, but reliable private mechanics are hard to find!

Just talked to Gallep. He is about to start work at Avalon MotorSports up here. Think he might be down for the job. He definitely did a sweet job on my APR snub.

Go for the Stasis setup if you can at all...it will offer you stock ride comfort, but incredible handling...It is the best setup one can get...

Which Stasis setup are you referring to exactly? There are several.

I am interested in peoples opinions on the comfort level of the various coilovers. How they compare to stock sport packge for instance. Performance for any of them will be better than stock so I'm not so worried about that.

    Koni Coilovers - 1.8T 2000 A4:

ride hight adjustability (on and off) - Adjustable on the car but I needed to use a strap in the fronts:

dampening and adjustability: I set mine to ~40% firm, I think it is only slightly firmer than the stock sport suspension.

body roll: Not eliminated but fine with me as primarily a street application

info on track and street use: Only used for street use

corner weight balancing: The only corner adjusting I did was to set the height to 25.5" from ground to fender.

I am also 25.5" all around, but I do not have coilovers (I know, I'm off topic ), I'm running Neuspeed Race with adjustable Bilsteins set to the low perch. The ride is very stiff, little body roll.

Koni Coilovers, set the somewhat firm 4/5 if 5 is firmest. I came from H&R Race/Adj Bilstein. Ride is alot more comfortable with the Koni, less roll through corners, great for sprint runs and well balance on corners. 24 5/8s from ground to fender.

Really helpful fellas, and really appreciated! And MOOPS, I am a huge fan bro.

So basically a good investment would be the stasis/koni's that are on special right now? I think I will drop the ball tomorrow
