This is somewhat of a repost, but I really need other people's input on this. Thanks in advance fellas.
Does anyone notice that the rear windows (not windshield) are somewhat reflective when using the same type of tint? I had my vehicle recently tinted, and noticed that the rears seem almost metallic at certain angles. I'm aware that stock windows are tinted from the factory, however, is it a possibility that it would create this type of discrepancy? FYI, the fronts are 34% while the rears are limo. I double checked that the proper film was used. Am I just being crazy? Thanks for the help.
My car is also black on black, so that might add to the effect...
Of course the fronts will be a lot lighter because the light penetrates from the front, but would that really cause this type of visual inconsistency? Perhaps the stock windows came with some type of special coating that creates this type of look?
