I would be interested if I can be convinced on either of these two points:

    1. it is cheaper than the AWE kit by...

    or

    2. it is worth more than the AWE kit on a 2000 A4 because it performs this much bettter...

I'll do some of my own research but those are my deal makers!

    Cheers

i'm gonna call neuspeed tomorrow and find out more info on this.. if we get a gb going and it is true that we can't get them for a couple more weeks.. still we can all get a good price and be assured that we will get some of the next batch..

does the awe kit come complete wit software?

    Neuspeed comes with everything...

hopefully i'll have an update tomorrow..

AWE comes complete with GIAC software fuel pressure regualtor and all needed gaskets, and from what i heard more people prefer AWE. I emailed this guy from www.eurostyleseast.com , they I believe are distributor for AWE, and he seemed to do business with us, but we need six to eight people and he needs to know who we're gonna pay for all this.

Just let me know whos interested.

Maybe it's just the turbo, but I've seen people put together K04 kits for just under a grand.

For another $600 on top of what you'd be paying for this kit retail, you could have a T28 turbo upgrade...

I didn't say you could get a T28 for no more than $2500, I said, save up another $600 and you could afford a T28. (I do believe there are T28 kits that start right around 3k)

I'll see if I can't find where this guy got his parts from for his K04 upgrade. He said it was right around a grand...

Marcini, you have a MY2000. There are 2 choices for big turbo kits that's been proven.

    1. AWE K04 kit. GIAC programming. Get a FMIC with it and ask for the J31 programming. lots of torque, good HP. This is a budget kit.

    2. APR stage 3. Depend on what you do with the kit, it can give you good power. I'm pushing about 251whp which is about 321hp to the crank. I plan on going back on the dyno and hoping to get about 270whp, which is about 345hp.

They are different in prices, it's all about what you want.

DOn't even think about the T-28 kit for DBW. Unless you want to blow your motor. Again, as I said at the meet...it's your car and it's your choice on what you want in your car.

Neuspeed SKO4 is available for the 2000 ATW. I have the first kit in my car for about a month. Smooth flat powerband compared to chipped KO3. Using GTEK 165 Hp chipped- 205 with Neuspeed kit. Pulls much harder above 4K. So far been happy with it.

    Ed,

What is the octane rating of the gasoline you are using to get to 251whp? What did you tweak in the SIII kit to get that much HP? I'd like to squeeze more HP out of my SIII.

    Thx.

that was 100 octane+1 gallon of toulene in a full tank. v3.0 programming.
Now i'm running the wild programming and the 93 feels about 95% of v3.0's 100. I tried out the wild 100 last week at the NE event and it pulled much harder than the v3.0. I'm hoping to get my FMIC in soon and go back to the AWE dyno again.

I don't have any news about sko4 from neuspeed, a4tuuurbo is taking care of that, but I personally have bad news, I called AWE and EUROSTYLESEast who is a distributor of the ko4 kit from awe and thay both said that there be no way to have a group buy because they ran out of k04s and they're waiting for the shipment, and the assembly, and all of that may take up to 3 months or so, but from what i have heard, awe is coming out with a bigger turbo kit by the end of the summer, so we might be better of waiting till then and see, i would still rather go with the K04 kit from AWE, but this is just my personal opinion
