    Comp help: delayed write failure...

    fack my comp is facked....

    turned on my comp and when windows "loads" it gets part way throught and then i get an alert saying:

    there was a delayed write failure in "such and such" file. the data has been lost. etc etc

    i press ok and a little bit later another one pops up with a diff. file... and it keeps going with diff files...

    and i cant do anything on the comp, i click "my computer" and nothing happens....

    any ideas whut i can do? last night seems like my CPU overheated, was in system BIOS and said it was running at 98.5 C

    and its supposed to shut off when it goes above 95 C

    (btw its a amd athlon xp 2400+)

    any ideas as to whut i shud do?

    haha.. well sorry to hear nathan! YOUR REGISTRY IS FACKED!

    did you just mess with your registry and deleted stuff? (i.e. spywares) you must have deleted some windows .dll files and now windows can't start... you have to reload windows! but then when i tried that on mine it didn't fix it so i had to fdisk and load a fresh one, losing all my files... well thank god for backup!

    but if you don't have backup, try not to format the disk... i don't know how to fix registry problems coz they are pain, and i don't wanna fnck with them, just happened that i messed up!

    your cpu cannot overheat. the mb that you got will kill everything when your cpu or mb when either reaches a certain temp. did you try booting in using safe mode? give that a shot. and if nothing else you should be able to get it fixed in dos.
    Even my dishwasher is made by Bosch.
