    Anyone try a B&B exhaust on a B5 1.8T?

I just got their catalog in the mail today. They do have a listing for a B5 exhaust for both front trak and quattro. There aren't any prices or sizes though. I'm curious what size the piping is, and how much it costs...

Just looking into all of the options I have.

    Thanks,
    Mike

It may be totally different, but I know in Porsches the B&Bs were notorious for blowing out the welds at the end caps, as well as having some nasty resonance issues. FWIW

Oh yeah, I'm open to hear anything about the B&B setup, even if it's not the exhaust for the A4s.

    Anyone else?

Check with APR. I think they used to contract out their exhausts to B&B triflow. Not sure if they're still doing that or what. In any case, I have the APR exhaust and I'm happy with it, tone, performance and all.

Mine's a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust including the downpipe.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I'm curious if they are still subbing them out to B&B. If so, wonder if there's a price difference? Probably not.

Of course, the top of my list is an APR exhaust, but was looking for alternatives...
