Today a friend of mine was telling me that on turbo charged cars you get better performance out of a single pipe exhusat or a ture dual. He said the signle pipe helps control the flow better. Anyone have anything to say about this? Also, what exactly is "cat back" exhaust?
    Thanx

i would think the duel exhaust had better flow for a smaller engine car and a larger engine car would have better flow with a larger exhaust.

Cat-back = an exhaust system from the end of the catalytic converter, back to the tail pipe. It replaces those sections, which is essentially the downpipe and the piping all the way to the tips.

Here's a decent read on exhaust theory: http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Miscella...austtheory.htm

"Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
